It never ceases to amaze me as to what has been shoved into a pack of baseball cards. Trust me. This is one oddball product you probably didn’t know existed until now.

Created by Imprinted Products Corporation, and distributed by Pinnacle, the hobby was introduced to Classic Sports Pin Cards in 1994.

To celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Major League Baseball somebody thought it would be cool to place pins into packs of cards.

Found inside each pack there is (1) limited edition MLB lapel pin, (1) team trading card, and (1) checklist.

There are (14) American League pins and (14) National League pins. That’s a total of (28) MLB pins in the set.

As far as a chase element goes they randomly inserted (500) “Winner” pins which entitled the recipient to receive a free limited edition Diamond Series II pin set. According to Imprinted Products Corporation this pin set was valued at $250 at the time. If anyone reading this knows what the Diamond Series II pin set looks like please let me know. Very little information about it is available.

None of the pins or cards hold much value. A total of 25,000 boxes were produced. Plenty to go around.
