Staff Stamp / Prerelease Promo
Quick Specifications
A promotional card stamped for event staff or prerelease distribution — like the 'STAFF' stamp on Pokémon prerelease promos given to event organizers. Staff stamps are scarcer than the regular prerelease version and carry a premium, though the stamp itself is printed rather than embossed.
Condition & Grading Challenges
Verification Essential: Errors must be cross-referenced with known population reports. Many 'errors' are simply one-off printer scraps (freak defects) rather than cataloged variations.
Investment Profile
Niche Market: Errors have a highly dedicated but smaller buyer pool. Liquidity can be lower, but 'famous' errors (like the NNOF) command astronomical premiums.
