About Dr. Andrew K.

Dr. Andrew K. founded PreGradeCards in 2023 to bring computer-vision grade prediction to collectors. He holds a Ph.D. in machine learning and has spent the last decade building production computer-vision systems for object recognition and defect detection. At PreGradeCards he leads the model pipeline that evaluates centering, corners, edges, and surface on over 1.2 million collectibles, and he designed the 10,000-card PSA accuracy benchmark published in June 2026. His work focuses on making AI grading transparent, measurable, and useful for pre-screening before professional submission.
